MintBox Fintech Private Limited having its registered office at Fl No 304 B, Kanyakapuram Appartment, Dabha, Waddhamna, Hingna, Nagpur-440023, Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as "Company," "We," "Us,” or "Our,” whose expression shall include its affiliates, subsidiaries, successors and assigns). As an AMFI-registered mutual fund distributor, our company operates the website www.mintit.in (the “Website”) and the mobile application (“MINTIT APP”) collectively referred to as the "Platform". We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it in accordance with this policy.

“You” and “your” shall mean anyone who visits (visitors), accesses, or uses (registered users) the Platform or obtains services from us through the Platform.

You are hereby advised to carefully review this privacy policy prior to using or registering on the platform or accessing/availing of the services provided therein, as this privacy policy outlines the types of information, we may collect from you or that you may provide to us when you visit the platform, as well as our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

The terms as may be used in this document would be in accordance with The Information Technology Act 2000 as amended till date, the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011, the “SIP Rules,” and such other rules/regulations and circulars as may be applicable.

We collect several types of information from and about our visitors and registered users of our platform, including information:

a) Sensitive Personal Data / Information: Sensitive Personal Data or Information of a person means such personal information which consists of information relating to:

  1. password;
  2. financial information such as bank account, credit card, debit card or other payment instrument details;
  3. biometric Information;
  4. any detail relating to the above clauses as provided to us for providing service;
  5. any of the information received under the above clauses by the body corporate for processing, stored or processing under a lawful contract or otherwise

provided that any information that is freely available or accessible in the public domain or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other law for the time being in force shall not be regarded as sensitive personal data or information for the purposes of these rules.

b) Personal Information:

Personal information collected by us from you may include (but is not limited to) your personal and demographic information, including identification/correspondence details including your name, user ID, photos/images, age, residential address, mobile number, email address, date of birth, Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhar Card Number, and nominee details.

The said information is also being collected to be compliant with the Know Your Client (KYC) norms under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA), the rules issued thereunder, and guidelines and circular on anti-money laundering issued by SEBI and SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996, as amended till date.

c) Information You Provide to Us

The information we collect on or through our platform may include:

  • Information that you provide by filling out forms on our platform. This includes information provided at the time of visiting and/or registering to use our platform, subscribing to our service, or requesting further services.
  • Records and copies of your correspondence, including email addresses, if you contact us.
  • Your search queries on the platform.

Any other type of information that you provide us.

d) Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with our platform, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our platform, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the platform.

We use the Pi to troubleshoot and improve the quality of our digital initiatives, to maintain our contacts database, to manage online accounts, including technical, administrative and security issues, and to understand how people use our services, including internal administration and data analytics in particular, with regard to the success of our digital and other initiatives.

5) Data Retention, Storage and Transfer

We will not sell your personal information. We will not share your personal information with anyone for their independent use.

We retain your personal information only as long as needed to provide our services or until you request its deletion. However, some personal information may be retained to support our legitimate business interests, including fraud detection, prevention, and enhancing safety.

We may store and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations. For example, we may keep some of your information for tax, legal reporting and auditing obligations. Additionally, some copies of your information (e.g., log records) may remain in our database but are disassociated from personal identifiers. Because of the way we maintain certain services after you delete your information, residual copies may take time before they are deleted from our active servers and may remain in our backup systems.
